The Readers Studio

I’ll be making my first appearance as a participant in The Tarot School’s Readers Studio this year. I’ll be learning more about tarot and hobnobbing with tarot luminaries Corrine Kenner, Barbara Moore, Wald and Ruth Ann Amberstone, and many others. I’m totally excited to be able to attend this highly recommended tarot experience and I hope to see many of my tarot peeps there.

March 19th, 10 am-5 pm Faire – Vendors, Workshops, Food & Entertainment
$7 per person Faire entrance fee or $5 with coupon (coupon available at website)
On hand to offer half-hour and hour long readings. Also selling crocheted tarot slip cases and tarot spread cases to those interested in jazzing up their tarot decks.
Hacking the Tarot

February 18-21, Saturday 11:00 am in the San Carlos Room
This unplanned class replaced another presentation where the instructor was not able to make it. In this session hosts Jaymi Elford and Paula Meier answered questions about various aspect of tarot itself, reading for self and for others, and how intuitive tarot works.
Inspiring the Muse with Tarot, using a tarot deck to journal and tell stories

February 18-21, Saturday 9:00 am in the San Carlos Room
This is a 90 minute version. Interested in writing short stories or books? Want to combine your passion for words with your love of tarot? Inspiring the Muse takes writers and tarot enthusiasts through a whirlwind tour in using tarot as a creative muse. In this workshop you’ll discover how to use tarot as a journalling companion, the ultimate story generator, and as a writing coach. Let author Jaymi Elford show you how you can put spark into your writing life. Bring your imagination, paper and pen, and an illustrated tarot deck.

Second Transformative Tarot Counseling Intensive — Portland, OR
I’ll be reuniting with my TTC Pod to take Katrina Wynne’s 2nd Tarot Intensive. This weekend intensive covers the second level of her Transformative Tarot Counseling Certification Program and discusses Psychology, Dream Analysis, and Tarot Symbolism. She’ll also supervise more reading sessions to make sure we’re getting her unique perspective on reading the cards. Check out Katrina’s site for information, cost and details. Washington State University Halloween Party— Vancouver, WA
Looking for some halloween fun? Come join me and my fellow tarot readers as we provide some divination fun for Washington State University at Vancouver’s Halloween party. Costumes optional. This event is open to the public and will be held at the Firstenburg building. Canned and non-perishable food donations for Martha’s Pantry accepted at the door. A special midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show will end the festivities.

NaNoWriMo Plot Party
NaNoWriMo is a wonder, seat of your pants writing experience. The goal is to write a complete first draft of a novel in 30 days (or less). Started in 1998 by Chris Baty, NaNoWriMo is an international project that I have been taking apart of for the past 10 years now. Come join us at Three Creeks Library on this evening to learn more about NaNoWriMo, play games with your fellow authors, and allow me to read the cards for your characters or create new ones for November.
